Come Work With Us

Become a Counselor

From Chorister to Counselor, yet always a Chorister
One of the really rewarding experiences of being at Choir School is to watch young people grow up to become leaders in their schools, churches, and communities, especially ones like Choir School. All of our counseling staffers each have years of Choir School experience behind them. Perhaps you are a chorister who one day dreams of becoming a counselor. If so, read on.
All counseling staff must have had previous choir school experience of at least two years. We are looking for people who are good leaders, encouragers, and who are solid Christians. The number of counselors that are hired each year is never fixed, but dependent upon a number of factors. In keeping with provincial legislation, standard employment practices, and having safety in mind, all applicants are required to fill and return an application form (as on the right), and to have an interview with selected Planning Team members. If offered a position, a criminal check done by local police or RCMP must be submitted by the applicant (who also bears any cost associated with such a check).
After all that, you are likely asking “What positions are available to aspiring leaders of Choir School?” If this is the case, then your answer is found right below. Have a look at the following partial job descriptions:
